ANTEPRIMA Ltd. was established in Hong Kong in 1985 with its operations based out of Milan, Italy in 1993. Founder, Izumi Ogino, launched ANTEPRIMA through a debut collection comprised of shoes and handbags and opened several boutiques in Japan and Hong Kong before opening the flagship boutique in Milan in 1995.
In collaboration with architect Rodolfo Dordoni, ANTEPRIMA opened its flagship boutique in Como in 2000. Recognized and constantly supported by the most prestigious international media; with advertising campaigns shot by some of the most appreciated fashion photographers, such as Mario Testino, Jan Welters, Nathaniel Goldberg, Stephane Sednaoui. In addition, a specialized accessories line under the label ANTEPRIMA plastiq was launched in Japan in November 2002.
Since creating ANTEPRIMA in the early nineties, the brand’s signature style has since gained worldwide recognition for its use of quality materials featuring subtle designs made with meticulous care and refined details. Designed by an international team with Izumi Ogino still the backbone of the operation, Anteprima has grown to be an international success story with 3 flagships stores in Italy, Japan and Hong Kong and a total of 67 ANTEPRIMA and PLASTIQ boutiques worldwide.
